I’m really pleased to announce that I was selected to receive a mentorship by the CIRAA! Brenley MacEachern of Madison Violet is going to be my mentor. It starts in the new year and I can’t wait to dive in and start working away.
On a completely unrelated note, I will be performing in a holiday fundraiser with lots of musicians tonight to support the Children’s Wish Foundation. I’ve always really loved Christmas music, but my absolute favourite holiday album of all time is Vince Guaraldi’s Charlie Brown Christmas and it just feels right to play a few tunes from it. Come out and see me play solo on a real piano, something I haven’t done in a long time. The Facebook event is here. There will be a sing-along, so be prepared to use those pipes.
