Indie Week Wrap Up

Indie Week was a resounding success! I was so honoured to be part of a festival that was genuinely supportive and enthusiastic about independent artists. I was a huge fan of their industry panels (especially the one on touring), the diversity of bands and of course, the swag. Our band performance got some media attention by INtune Magazine, which said that we were “a fusion of music that combined the best of Jazz and the best of Electronica.” I have to admit, I blushed a little when I first read it. You can check out the whole article here. I’ll also be doing a promo spot for the new EP with them in a few weeks, more on that later.

Another great part of the festival was getting exposed to new groups in the city. We were lucky to play with Martha Meredith, Suzy Wilde and Maneli Jamal. This city is full of great music.
